  3. Biography Alex Palomino • Freshman • Mechanical Engineering Major - Electrical Engineering Minor • I have learned that robots are not precision instruments that follow your programming. Robots are actually fickle beasts that behave differently depending one several factors including battery power, lighting, and tire traction. EGN 1935: ECE (Ad)Ventures

  4. Biography Alex Palomino • Because of this course I will learn to be more patient when I start working with Dr. Schwartz in the MIL lab. Biography – Long Nguyen • First Year – Sophomore • Industrial Engineering major, EE minor • This course has taught me much about sensors, from infrared to light, as well as a bit on basic circuitry. • I now have basic knowledge on sensors and circuits for future use. • I hope to graduate with a masters from UF and move on to find a job in the field that I am passionate about. Biography – Jack Andrew • Freshman • Old Major: Electrical Engineering, New Major: History. • I learned that robots are finicky and do not always react the same to the slightest variations. • This course helped me realize that I do not want to be an Electrical Engineer.
