  • Usually in a Eucharistic service context
  • Advanced warning!
  • ‘May the Lord meet you at your point of need’.
  • = brainstorm – what might people’s needs be?
  • Receive sacrament and wait

  • It can be a normal service!
  • Nothing extra needs to be done. No special hymns, no oil, no bespoke order of service
  • It is just a normal Sunday service where perhaps the readings have given the occasion to do more than just talk about healing – cf John 4 The Samaritan woman (Sunday’s Gospel reading)
  • How many have heard a sermon on healing .....and no opportunity to do anything about it?
  • Prayer ministry at the end of a service.
