Student Connections • EFC-Member Student Job Board: • list of career postings at member companies available at: www.electrofed.com • EFC Foundation Scholarship Program: awarded to students interested in pursuing a career in our industry • Industry Careers – Student Outreach: • participation in school career fairs, tradeshows, conferences • distribution of binders, brochures and CDs to career centres at colleges & universities across Canada

Scholarship Program • EFC and member sponsors have invested close to $450,000 in post-secondary technical training & education of Canadian students • EFC received 700+ student applications last year • This year, over $40,000 in scholarships to be awarded to students pursuing a career in: • Electrical Engineering • Industrial Distribution • Business Administration • Electrical Technologist • Certified Electrical Technologist • Electrical Technician

Industrial Distribution Leadership Certificate Program (Mohawk College) • An official Certificate Program within Mohawk’s School of Continuing Education. • Graduates receive Industrial Distribution Leadership Certificate. • 115+ students have taken/are taking the courses to date • Program includes six, 30-hour courses: • Business Fundamentals of Industrial Distribution   • Operational Fundamentals in Industrial Distribution  • Marketing, Sales & Customer Service in Industrial Distribution   • Negotiations in Industrial Distribution  • Leadership & Effective Communication in Industrial Distribution  • Industrial Distribution Integrated Case Study • Courses offered both in-class and online
