  3. NERC – Standards • NERC Standards PER-005-1 R3.1 April 1, 2014 PER-005-2 New version industry Ballot reached a quorum and got 74% approval – next step to respond to comments

  4. NERC – Personnel Subcommittee (PS) • SOCCED Project: Phase 2 on- hold A three year improvement plan with the primary objectives of the project • Requesting additional Continuing Education Reviewers Individual Learning Activity (ILA) approvals • Continuing of cleanup of NERC Continuing Education Manual

  5. NERC – Personnel Certification Governance Committee (PCGC) • New Vendor for administering and updating test bank – PSI • Testing for operators available starting February • Exam Writing Workshop in February in St. Louis

  6. PEAK RC Update • New Website • https://www.peakrc.com/ • System Restoration Training • DTS Training required for all participants of Restoration exercises. • Spring session starts March 7 (On Fridays)

  7. WECC RTCA class Update • 2 –day hands on class • Sept 29-30 • Oct 12-13 • Remote learning available • Must have utilities own log-in • Establish Training Proctor • WECC budget for 2015

Human Performance Work Group (HPWG) WECC HP Workshop • Successful workshop for 2013 in Salt Lake City • 44 people attending from various parts of country • Less than expected from WECC • See HPWG website for Workshop tools to use at your office. • 2014 Workshop is October 22 in Salt Lake City, UT • NERC HP Workshop is March 20 in Atlanta, GA

  9. WECC Training Update • Training Manager position is posted • WECC Courses • Do you still need them? • How can we fill your Training needs – new courses, other locations? • Have record attendance for Workshops outside of SLC. • Register operators early so we know class enrollments
