RoboRAVE International Event Days May 3rd, 2013 Day’s Schedule: NEW 2013 (Table of Contents) • Roboquerque Convention Center west side hall - Noon – 8:00p - Early check-in; Fire Fighting Challenge Qualifying Heats; FREE workshops; Shoptalks on robotics teams, management, school programs; Workshop on college opportunities in robotics & engineering and how to prepare/apply • Parking: • Arriving before 5pm? Civic Plaza underground, along 3rd St, Commercial parking lots, Albuquerque Parking Garage (All paid parking) - Arriving after 5pm? Wells Fargo Bank, 3rd & Roma NW (FREE all weekend)

RoboRAVE International Event Days Qualifying for Fire Fighting Challenge MAY 3RD ONLY (Table of Contents) NEW 2013: May 3rd --- Noon to 8:00p • Qualifying Requirement: Extinguish 1 unhidden candle within 3 minutes by demonstrating an extinguishing system that turns on at the candle, extinguishes the candle, and then shuts off • Qualifications CLOSES 8:00p on May 3rd, 2013

RoboRAVE International Event Days May 3rd, Ice Cream Social --- 5:30p to 7:30p (Table of Contents) Who’s it For? - All volunteers, parents, players, coaches, sponsors, and staff ONLY Ice Cream! - So plan your dinner before or after! Advantage in Attending? - Practice on the event tracks early, - Set up your PIT area, - FAST ‘BOT competition – no registration; just a fast, straight ‘bot, - Meet old friends, new friends, & help start the party!

RoboRAVE International Event Days May 4, 2013 Day’s Schedule (Table of Contents) • Doors open - 7:00a • Opening Remarks – 8:00a • Parade – 8:20a • All teams compete for points – 8:30a to Noon • Lunch – Noon to 12:50p • Afternoon Tournaments - 1:00p to 2:45p • Clean up and get ready for Awards – 2:45p – 3:30p • Awards – 3:30p to 4:30p • Get ready for RoboRAVE International 2014!

RoboRAVE International Event Days May 4th 8:30a - 12p, Earn Points on Open Track Format (Table of Contents) NEW 2013 for All divisions, All Challenges (except Robotovate®) Earn Points to Qualify - EARN POINTS to qualify for the AFTERNOON TOURNAMENTS - NO HEATS; Access tracks when open as indicated by track monitors - RUN as many times as you can and when you’re READY - Report each score to the SCORE TABLE

RoboRAVE International Event Days MAY 4th, 1:00p - 2:30p Tournaments (Table of Contents) NEW 2013 for All divisions, All Challenges (except Robotovate®) 1:00p – 2:30p – Qualifiers Compete for Top Honors - Single elimination tournament for each division & challenge - Jousting & Line Following: TOP 5 scores + extra points qualify - Fire Fighting: TOP 3 scores + extra points qualify - Robotovate®: No tournament; winners by most votes
