Do different environments create different types of civilizations? • What are the pros and cons of the growing population of the Eastern Hemisphere? What characteristics do we use to differentiate populations?

  4. Essential Questions cont. • How has trade and production affected the development and urbanization of the eastern hemisphere? • How does the environment, populations, and the economy lead to conflict/ stability in the eastern hemisphere?
