  3. Survey Purpose & Administration • HACIA – IDOT Partnership • Obtain open and honest feedback on benefits and challenges of the program • Criteria, solicitation, timeframe, response rate, and possible influences on the data

Respondents Profile (Demographics) • 31 respondents out of 46 participants • 16 mentors & 16 protégés • 60% have participated in a mentor-protégé relationship outside IDOT • Mentors have supported an average of 2 protégé firms • 33% of protégés applied for & obtained a new prequalification after relationship • 60% success rate in being selected as a prime
