  2. Los expertos de Vitaldent nos explican hoy un poco más acerca de esta anomalía. El llamado diente de Turner es un tipo de displasia, es decir, una alteración del desarrollo del tejido dentario.

  3. Esta displasia es compleja y se caracteriza por la aparición de un islote de cemento de cicatrización anormal, que modifica el color de la pieza de forma evidente.

  4. Dicha acumulación de cemento es la respuesta a una lesión en un diente definitivo antes de que este erupcione. El islote suele ser visible en la cara vestibular de los incisivos, así como en la oclusal de los premolares.
