After that he seemed to pay more attention to what he was reading.” “he enjoyed figuring the clues out, but when I asked him to write his own he had some troubles. We then moved on to a word sort. We sorted words with the ending os -s and -es. He seemed to breeze through” “he would spell "profitted and resultting" instead of Profited and resulting. So then I did a little activity where I would write a group of words that had similar endings and I would ask him to circle the words that had a double letter” “I could tell that he was getting frustrated at the beginning, but after some encouragement he figured out the trick. I asked him to make up his own FanneeDoolee Riddles. Then I narrowed it down to verbs that had a double letter. He came up with FanneeDoolee likes swimming freestyle, but not backstroke” Observation
