  1. SELECTION STUDIES Comparison between Ctalk, No Ctalk, first pad selected Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  2. OUTLINE Aligned scenario 1.B off • Three differents possibility for each of them (in order of analisys): • Ctalk (big pad); • No Ctalk; • First pad selected; Misaligned scenario in X: M4Aside=3mm, M4Cside=-6mm Aligned scenario 2.B on Misaligned scenario in X: M4Aside=3mm, M4Cside=-6mm New geometry and the last version of Gauss, Boole, Brunel are used in all the scenarios . M1-M5 are the fixed stations. Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  3. X residual distributions Boff, Aligned Ctalk No Ctalk first pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  4. X residual distributions Bon Aligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  5. Y residual distributions Boff, Aligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  6. Y residual distributions Bon Aligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  7. X residual distributions Boff, Misaligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  8. X residual distributions Bon, Misaligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  9. Y residual distributions Boff, Misaligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  10. Y residual distributions Bon, Misaligned Ctalk No Ctalk First pad Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  11. B off, Aligned, first pad, Ctalk M5 M4 M3 Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  12. M5 M4 B on, Aligned, first pad, Ctalk M3 Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  13. B off, Misaligned, first pad (R1 black, R2 red, R3 green, R4 blue),Ctalk the others one in each region 1/2 Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  14. B off, Misaligned, first pad (R1 black, R2 red, R3 green, R4 blue),Ctalk the others one in each region 2/2 Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  15. B on, Misaligned, first pad (R1 black, R2 red, R3 green, R4 blue),Ctalk the others one in each region 1/2 Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  16. B on, Misaligned, first pad (R1 black, R2 red, R3 green, R4 blue),Ctalk the others one in each region 2/2 Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  17. # Of tracks comparison The total number of processed tracks are not the same for all the cases Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  18. RESULTS FROM THE COMPARISONS But I think that rebbining for the chamber dimensions in the case of Y, we can use the Ctalk (big pad) without troubles Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara

  19. CONCLUSIONS • I think that the best selection for us is to use the “PADONE” for several reasons: - Shape of X (Y rebbining) residual distributions • Number of tracks respect No Ctalk selection Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara
