This document outlines the student processes for placement allocation and administration within the Nursing Programmes (BANS & ADNS) at Sheffield Hallam University. Students are required to complete a student profile form to indicate their preferred geographical zones, personal information, and any conflicting interests. The allocation of zones and placements is based on factors such as learning experience suitability, availability of placements, and a random numbering system for equity. The document also emphasizes the importance of updating personal profiles, adhering to attendance deadlines, and communicating effectively with mentors. Students are urged to seek support from Student Support Officers or Personal Tutors for any specific issues. It is crucial for students to fulfill their responsibilities in arranging shifts, traveling to placements, and not refusing allocated placements.
