  18. (Job 40:15-24) Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; heeateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He movethhis tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: hetrusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

  19. (Job 40:15) Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

  20. “he eateth grass as an ox.” (Dan 4:15-16) Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

  21. “he eateth grass as an ox.” (Dan 4:32-33) And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. clinical lycanthropy

  22. (Job 40:17) He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

  23. Behemoth’s power “He moveth his tail like a cedar” (Rev 12:4) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

  24. (Job 40:17) He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

  25. Behemoth’s sexuality (Dan 11:37) Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

  26. (Job 40:19) He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

  27. Behemoth’s source of power • “He is the chief of the ways of God” • (Eze 28:12) Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

  28. (Job 40:19) He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

  29. The only defense against behemoth • (2Th 2:8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: • (Rev 19:15) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations:

  30. (Job 40:23) Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordaninto his mouth.

  31. (Rev 12:15) And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
