  18. B. The Frequency of these deliveries

  19. C. The Flammability of the weapons

  20. (Eze39:9-10) And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

  21. It is interesting to note that new Russian weapons are being produced using a new material known as lignostone. Prepared from compressed wood-product, this material was developed in Holland to be used as fuel. However, the Soviet weapons laboratories discovered that this unique substance, called lignostone, is as strong as steel, light, pliable, and almost invisible to radar. The unique characteristics encouraged the Russian military to utilize this material in many military vehicles and weapons. NOTES

  22. One of the characteristics of lignostone is that it burns at very high temperatures and can be readily used as an alternative fuel. • The use of lignostone, and the fact that mobile Russian military units can carry large amounts of fuel (in containers 100 yards across) for their tanks and helicopters, may explain the prophecy that the defeat of this army will provide ample fuel for Israel for a period of seven years. NOTES

  23. La Fayette-class Stealth design can be identified from the structure of a very “clean” than warships in general. Superstructure is made of wood composite materials (wood) and fiberglass are much stronger than steel, lightweight, fire resistant, and absorb radar (radar absorbant).

  24. IV. The Decision to Invade

  25. (Eze38:12) To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land

  26. A. The financial profit

  27. Ever since the end of the Cold War, Russia has been in an absolute financial crisis, and to this day they don’t know what to do about it. • On the other hand Israel has done nothing but to increase in riches. • • 1000 mile oil line • • more oil is being found • • Trillions of dollars worth of minerals in the dead sea NOTES

  28. Only about 50 years ago there were very few trees in Israel and it was basically a wasteland. But now Israel is the 4th largest exporter of Fruit in the world • (Eze 38:8) After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. NOTES

  29. B. To Facilitate land bridge (control the Middle East)

  30. Every world conquer has stated that to control the world you must control the land bridge that connects it. (Asia, Africa, and Europe) • That piece of property is the must valued in all the world and biblical times • It was where the throne of Lucifer was. (Ezk. 28) • It was where Adam was formed • It is where Jesus Christ will rule and reign for a thousand years. • Every major religion claims it. NOTES

  32. 1. Persia 2. Libya 3. Sudan 4. etc. NOTES

  33. D. To face off with the Antichrist

  34. (Eze 38:13) Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

  35. Who is Sheba and Dedan • Sheba and Dedan were cities in what is now Saudi Arabia. They are not part of the invasion, but they do question what the invasion is for. Saudi Arabia is fearful of an attack by Iran, Iran wants to control all of Islam. By attacking Saudi Arabia not only would they have all the oil, but they would also gain control over Mecca. Thus they would control Mecca and Medina, the two most holy sites in all of Islam. NOTES

  36. Who is Tarshish? (Great Britain) • The name Tarshish is found 24 times in the bible. • Always refers to the land farthest west of Israel. • They are always connected to being a sea fairing nation NOTES

  37. 4. Who are the young lions • United States • Canada • Australia NOTES

  38. (Dan 9:27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
