Introduction • YSI 2950 is a stand alone Biochemistry analyzer that can measure a wide range of important chemistries, sugars and nutrients for the Bioprocessing/ Biopharma/Biofuels, Clinical and Food and Beverage markets • Results are available in around 1 minute • Operation is simple • Maintenance is straightforward • Accuracy and precision are excellent

Sample Processing 2950 is CHAMBER DRIVEN • When a chamber is empty, the next sample requiring that measurement is processed Samples are input in batches Each batch is associated with a set of analytes which is chosen from the active chemistries. Each batch is run in the fastest possible way – chambers are kept occupied. Calibrations are independent between chambers.

How samples are run… Configure the chambers (pick chemistries) Assign the reagent bottles Go to the run menu Choose a sample holder and assign samples to a batch Associate measurement chemistries (analytes) with the batch Press start! If it needs to calibrate it will do so. Samples are run as each chamber becomes vacant Progress through the batch can be viewed on the results tab
