  1. Foreshadowed of the Church • Hebrews 9:111 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect [l]tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; • 23Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. • 10:1 For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very [a]form of things, [b]can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. • Acts 7:38 This is the one who was in the [x]congregation in the wilderness together with the angel who was speaking to him on Mount Sinai, and who was with our fathers; and he received living oracles to pass on to you. • Matthew 16:18 I also say to you that you are [l] Peter, and upon this [m]rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. • 1 Peter 1:10-12 As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, 11 [h]seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories [i]to follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to [j]look.

Yet the one who is [m]least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Church During Time of Jesus • Mark 1:15 and saying, “ The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” • Luke 10:9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ • Matt 6:9,10 “ Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 ‘ Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. • Matt. 16:18 I also say to you that you are [l] Peter, and upon this [m]rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. • Matt. 18:1-3 At that [a]time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “ Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 And He called a child to Himself and set him [b]before them, 3 and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you [c]are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. • Mark 9:1  And Jesus was saying to them, “ Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.”

Beginning on Pentecost • Isaiah 2:2,3 Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established [a]as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it. 3 And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us [b]concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths.” For the [c]law will go forth from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. • Acts 2 Peter speaking to the Jews in Jerusalem.
