  1. Reading Plus Today’s Objectives: • Check your class roster and make sure your entire class isn’t scheduled • Reading Plus Requirements • Navigate the Teacher Dashboard • Reading Reports: • Progress: usage in your classroom • Instructional Summary: progress in your classroom

Weekly Requirements • Every student scheduled should complete 3 “see readers” and 3 “read arounds” a week. • Upon logging in, the student should start “see reader.” • See Reader: read a passage and answer 10 questions • A “combo” is earned when a student completes 2 “see readers’ at 80% comprehension or higher • On the reports page, under “progress,” you can see each students combo goals.

  3. Teacher Dashboard • Go to the “actions” panel first. Click on a student’s name to get details.

Incentives District wide: • Reading Plus Turkey Trot any school who gets ALL students caught up on Reading Plus is in the running for a $100 gift card • Every students completing all make up lessons will receive a certificate School wide: • Any teacher completing all make up sessions will get an extra 30 minutes “free time.” All students must be caught up by Thanksgiving break.

Weekly Requirements • Tier 1: benchmark assessment 3 times per year • Tier 2: 3 times a week, benchmark assessment 3 times per year, 2 face to face lessons (based on priority summary) • Tier 3: 2 times a week, benchmark assessment 3 times per year, 3 face to face lessons (based on priority summary)

  10. Reports • Summary- use this report to drive whole group instruction • Usage- weekly usage • Priority report and interventions

  11. Reports • Priority Report-guided reading lesson, face to face instruction • Have to document that you’ve provided intervention • Should check this report 1 time a week

  12. Reports • Priority Summary- this is what the district is checking weekly, you do not have access to this • # of alerts, % of alerts acknowledged
