Warwick Graduation Practice Guidelines for June 12th, 2014

Join us for graduation practice on June 12th, 2014, at Calvary Church, starting at 8:00 AM. Be on time to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly! Graduates must be dressed appropriately: ladies in dresses or dark pants and gentlemen in dark dress pants with a white shirt and tie. Please refrain from bringing gum, cell phones, or noisemakers to maintain respect during the ceremony. Parents are encouraged to exhibit decorum during name readings.   1. Warwick Graduation Practice June 12th, 2014

Expectations • Be on time for practice and graduation • Practice tomorrow at Calvary @ 8:00 • Graduation – Report @ 5:30, the procession will begin promptly @ 6:30 • No gum please. • No cell phones. • Please do not disrupt the ceremony by bringing noisemakers or props of any sort. Our ceremony is one to be remembered because we show class and respect to our classmates, families and staff. Please tell your parents to do the same when names are being read.

  3. Dress Code • Young Ladies: • Dresses or dark dress pants – please do not wear jeans • Dress shoes – please do not wear sneakers, sandals, or flip-flops • Please do not wear excessive jewelry, flowers, or corsages • Please do not place artwork, decoration or writing on your caps

  4. Dress Code • Young Men: • Dark dress pants, white dress shirt with a tie, dark socks • Please do not wear jeans or light dress pants • Dark dress shoes – please do not wear sneakers, sandals, loafers, or boots • Please do not place artwork, decoration or writing on your caps

Practice Time! • We will line up by homeroom 2x2 so we can proceed to our seats • Once we are seated, homerooms will line up on each side of the stage where students will be called by name to receive diplomas when it is time. • After students receive diplomas they will proceed down the middle of the stage and back to their seats.

  12. Baccalaureate/Reflections • Practice will follow graduation practice both days • You will wear your cap and gowns for the ceremony • We will have assigned rows for the procession atbaccalaureate
