In this warm-up activity, we will explore geometric transformations by drawing the images of a triangle and a rectangle after applying various transformations. The triangle has vertices A(1, 1), B(2, -2), and C(5, 0). We will conduct a 180° counterclockwise rotation around the origin and identify the new coordinates for the points. Similarly, we will analyze rectangle HIJK with vertices H(0, 2), I(4, 2), J(4, 4), and K(0, 4) through vertical translations and find the resulting coordinates for transformation points.
