  1. Relocation of CEL provision within Grove Park The existing L&Q Housing office at 333 Baring Road, Grove Park has been identified as a suitable site for the relocation of CEL within Grove Park. The relocation to 333 Baring Road offers many advantages to CEL and provides the opportunity to transfer the majority of the existing course offer from the Pragnell Road site. A consultation process was held from 20 January 2014 – 10th February 2014 which included public meetings, learner forums and visits to the existing Pragnell Road site to talk to individual classes Concerns were raised during the consultation period regarding the lack of space for fitness classes within the Baring Road site. In consultation with learners and following a review of suitable premises in the area it has been agreed that CEL will use the nearby Wesley Halls to provide fitness classes. Approval was given by the Executive Director Community Services on 18th March 2014 for CEL to relocate to 333 Baring Road, Grove Park. The relocation to Baring Road provides CEL with an opportunity to significantly increase learner numbers. The central location and increased visibility of the service will enable CEL to increase opening hours to include evening class provision and to widen the range of classes available in this area of the borough. The site will include a community café which will be open to non-learners as well as learners. This will offer free access to ICT which will include job clubs, employment support and provide help to local residents to overcome any barriers caused by digital exclusion. The new centre will be open from September 2014
