How DDLC operates DDLC is a free state-wide specialist community legal centre DDLC provides legal advice on disability discrimination, referrals and casework services for people with disability, their advocates and associates – principally over the phone, by email and post DDLC runs community legal education seminars and lobbies for policy reform promoting the rights and dignity of people with disability DDLC’s telephone advice line is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays 9.30am to 12.30pm

  3. 2. Referrals • Referrals are received from the following:- • DDLC website www.ddlcnsw.org.au • CLCs • Legal Aid/ Law Access • Disability agencies • HREOC & ADB • Individuals phone calls / emails

How is the DDLC best utilised? • hotlines 9.30am to 12.30pm Tuesday Wednesday Friday • Using Disability Discrimination Law & Finding A Way Case Studies • both available in hard copies free of charge and on website • Discrimination Toolkit • ‘Your Right to an Education – a guide for students with a disability’ • Requests for CLEs
