  3. What is Jing? Jing is software that allows you to: • Snap a picture of your screen • Record a video of onscreen action • Share instantly over the web, IM, email In their own words

  4. Similar products Free: • Wink (Windows & Linux) • Copernicus (Mac) • CamStudio (Windows) Commercial: • Adobe Captivate (Windows) • ScreenFlow (Mac) • Techsmith’sCamtasiaStudio (Windows) & Relay (Windows & Mac)

Advantages • Free • PC / MAC • Easy to learn and use: • Image annotation (e.g. add arrows or text) • No video editing • 5 minute maximum (1:30 rule for me) • Share with the click of a button • Create personalized tutorials • Pictures worth a 1000 words; videos a 1,000,000 • Audio capability • Supports visual and auditory learning
