Summary Our goal is to create a fun and competitive atmosphere for young players to enjoy baseball and improve their fielding and hitting skills. 9-11 year old games will be 6 innings. 12-14 year old games will be 7 innings. A pitching machine will be used with a real catcher. Walks are possible, yet unlikely. Games usually run under an hour and a half. The pitching speed will be adjusted to skill level. 2 games per week. We expect all proper safety precautions to be observed by Patterson Park Fall Baseball League (helmets, safe facilities and equipment). We, the undersigned, do give permission for our son/daughter to participate in the Patterson Park Baseball League. We do hereby expressly waive any and all claims and rights of whatever nature, which may arise at Patterson Park, Woodland Cemetery, the City of Dayton, the supervisory staff, or their agents or servants as a result of injuries incurred by our child while participating in this program.
