  3. 14. benevolent • Definition: friendly and helpful • Part of speech: adjective • Sentence: My grandmother was known for her benevolence, especially toward those less fortunate than she was.

  4. 24. conformist • Definition: person who complies with accepted rules and customs • Part of speech: noun • sentence: You’re such a conformist – why don’t you take a risk once in a while and risk being unique and individual?

  5. 34. empathy • Definition: identification with the feelings of others • Part of speech: noun • Sentence: I was filled with empathy as I watched the family grieve when they received the bad news.

  6. 44. fortuitous • Definition: happening by luck, fortunate • Part of speech: adjective • Sentence: It was fortuitous that you were able to escape the burning car before it blew up.
