New HMMS DRMO Interface • The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) Interface was established; • To provide Disposal Turn In Documents and Waste Profile Sheets electronically from HMMS to the DRMO. • To receive shipping and funding information from DRMO to HMMS. • A new DRMO Management screen has been added to HMMS and can be found under Administration > Waste > DRMO Management. • Users must have this screen access added to their default HMMS profile. • Additionally, there are four values that need to be into the “Site Configuration” screen to fully enable the new HMMS/DRMO electronic interface.

  6. DRMO Management Screen • The new DRMO Management screen performs the following functions: • Scheduling • Activation State • Automatic funding update • Management Notifications • DRMO Management Users

  7. DRMO Management Screen • Scheduling • Users are able to define when they want the communications between HMMS and DRMO to take place. Schedule options change depending on the selection. • Hourly — Every hour at the top of each hour. • Daily — Once each day. Inputs are provided to set the specified time. Time is input on a 24-hour clock. • Weekly — Once each week. Inputs are provided to specify the day of the week and the time. • Monthly — Once each month. Inputs are provided to specify the day of the month and the time.

DRMO Management Screen • Activation State • Allows you to choose the portions of the interface, if any, that will run at your site. • This indicator will also be reflected in the “About” screen DRMO Status field. The status will show active if any portion of the DRMO interface is activated or inactive if not activated. • Will default to Not Active, so after the release is loaded onto your server, you will be required to make a selection to get the DRMO interface to run. • The following options are available:  • Both Active • DRMO to HMMS • HMMS to DRMO • Not Active

  9. DRMO Management Screen Automatic funding update Occasionally, when you send a GENCOMM to DRMO, DRMO may find some discrepancies that impact waste funding. DRMO sends data regarding these discrepancies in their DRMOGEN file. You can choose to automatically update HMMS funding information with DRMOGEN funding data or not by using the following settings: Override Site Contract with DRMO This configuration has been moved from the Site Configuration screen to the DRMO Managements screen. If this configuration is set to yes, contract information returned from DRMO will override any contract information that you have previously assigned to a waste container. Override Site Weight with DRMO This configuration has been moved from the Site Configuration screen to the DRMO Managements screen. If this configuration is set to yes, the container weight returned from DRMO will override the weight that you have previously assigned to a waste container. Add new DRMO CLIN This configuration has been moved from the Site Configuration screen to the DRMO Managements screen. If this configuration is set to yes, and DRMO sends a CLIN that is not already associated with a waste container, the CLIN will be added to HMMS. Override DRMO Update This configuration has been moved from the Site Configuration screen to the DRMO Managements screen. If this configuration is set to yes, and the interface returns an update to a container record that is different from a previous update sent by DRMO, the field(s) will be updated with the new information.

DRMO Management Screen • Management Notifications • The DRMO interface prepares and sends files to DRMO from HMMS and receives and processes files from DRMO to HMMS. • The DRMO Management Notifications section of the screen will show different records attached to the files and reports applicable to the interface. • HMMS GENCOMM File Report • HMMS GENCOMM File • GENCOMM Log File • DRMOGEN File • DRMOGEN Update • You can delete notifications when you do not need to view them anymore; deleting a notification will not affect the interface file transfers. • Notifications will be automatically deleted after six months to keep the table manageable.

Management Notifications • HMMS GENCOMM File Report: • This report is a “readable report format” of the actual GENCOMM data sent to DRMO. • The report has the following fields: • Container Number – Lists the containers sent to DRMO. • Turn In Doc Number – Lists the DTIDS associated with the containers sent to DRMO. • Profile Number – Lists the profile number associated with the container • Name of Waste – Lists the name of waste from the profile associated with the container • DRMO Send Date – Lists the day that the container was sent to DRMO.

DRMO Management Users • As the DRMO interface prepares and sends files to DRMO from HMMS and receives and processes files from DRMO to HMMS, the DRMO Management Notifications section of the screen will show different records attached to the files and reports applicable to the interface. • If you want to receive these notifications in your inbox, then you can add your user id in the DRMO Management User section of the DRMO Management screen.
