  2. The Problem: • Modern Christianity has at least partially succumbed to the notion that there is no need to match our walk with our talk, or to that we have learned and received!

  3. Galatians 2:11 ff • The Apostles Paul and Peter

  4. Hypocrisy: • Standard Definition: Intentional or unintentional contradiction of belief and practice. • The Hebrew with it the idea of opposition to God and His truth.

  5. The Beatitudes describe the essential character of a disciple of Jesus

  6. Verses 13-16 summarize the believers function in the world which is to influence the world for Jesus!

  7. The BIG idea is: To glorify God in all we say and do EVERYDAY, EVERYWHERE! (Matthew 5:16 & Colossians 3:17)
