  6. If you can use these tools well, you can hang in there and eventually achieve your goals. • Determination • Conscience • Willpower • Imagination • Balance Tools of the Road

  7. For some people, words like these are like fuel, for others, hearing negative messages makes them veer from their chosen path. Answer the 10 questions  Total your points  Don’t Tell Me I Can’t Do It!

  8. 0-3 – Not Very Determined • 4-6 – Sometimes Determined • 7-8 – Usually Quite Determined • 9-10 – Extremely Determined What’s Your Score?

  9. Conscience, willpower, and imagination are three powerful tools for the road. Conscience is a rudder to guide you through choppy waters. Willpower is the inner strength to help you stay the course, And imagination is your ability to be creative and either steer clear of those choppy waters or find ways to steer safely though them.

  10. A roadblock is a hindrance to a goal. • It may be personal (a negative person) • Procedural (too many approvals) • Environmental (distractive) Roadblocks

  11. Be Honest • Do the Work • Be Positive • Think Things Through • See the Big Picture Rules of the Road
