Liverpool bid to host the 2015 NSS-MIC meeting Bid was led by the Liverpool Convention Centre with support from local (and UK) academic community Full bid submitted IEEE carried out a site visit Presentation to committee during Valencia meeting • Bid was unsuccessful • should have whole UK backing • UK should be more involved in the NSS-MIC committees

Objectives • To deliver a meeting of high scientific caliber presenting current work in several disciplines within Nuclear Science and Medical Imaging • To showcase state-of-the-art products and services from a wide range of companies • To promote the informal exchange of ideas and information • To maintain the level of quality and excellence of past conferences
