  1. An unused school property that the Trust has obtained in permanent usufruct from the Municipality • A four-building complex located ona 6,000+ meters lot in Puerto Real Ward

  2. An exceptional opportunity to: • Expand programs and services • Develop new programs • Demonstrate our commitment to the sustainability of Vieques • Generate economicopportunities locally

  3. Allows us to take in more students, as there is plenty of space • Allows us to create new programs – for instance, for older ex-MANTA students, teachers or families • Allows us to expand MANTASTIC

  4. Interactive, electronic, multi-use room for meetings, exhibitions and conferences • Facility for onlinelongdistancestudy • Electronic library • Electronic repository of information for students, researchers and community • Computer and internet use and training center

  5. Natural, environmental and social sciences • Practical applications to help the creation of small businesses, industries or jobs • Island-appropriate technologies • Island-appropriate gardening, composting,and recyling.
