Instructions for Circulation • Users can verify the availability of book and their personal library transactions details through our on-line catalogue from our college website. • Identity Card is must for library transaction i.e issue and return of books. Identity cards are not transferrable. • UG Students can borrow 2 books books with duration of 14 days. • No Renewal of issued book(s), Students and & Research Scholars should return the borrowed book(s) on or before the due date, failing by which a fine would be charged. • Loss of borrowed book(s) has to be reported immediately in writing to the Librarian. • Reference resources will not be lent out. Needed chapters can be photocopied in the library with a nominal charge.

General Instructions… • Sport ID card at all times and produce them on demand. • Strict silence, decorum and discipline must be maintained in the library. • Users must register their entry and exit in the system provided. • Leave your bags and personal belongings at the property counters. Users are advised not to keep their valuable things in the property counter. The library accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any articles so left.. • Mobile phones are to be switched off or to be kept on silent mode in the library. • Users should behave in a reasonable and seemly fashion in the library and must not damage library property or disturb other users. • All users must follow the dress code of the college while utilizing the library. • Look frequently at the library notice board. • Switch off fan and lights when it is not required. • Keep the library clean. Use dustbins provided in the library.

  13. Instructions for Circulation… • Identity Card is must for library transaction i.efor Issue & return of books. Identity card is not transferrable. • Students and & Research Scholars should return the borrowed books on or before due date, failing which a fine will be charged. • In the event of damage/loss, user shall replace it with new one and should pay fine for the delay. • Reference resources will not be lent out. • Books should be handled with great care, and mutilation of books in any manner will be lead to fine. • Before leaving the circulation counter check your transaction. • A borrowed book, if recalled by the librarian has to be returned immediately.
