In this page people can access all the resources and programs that are available This is a web site that all Americans should visit to educate themselves about the history of the country. It can also access on facebook.com, twiter.com.

About Library of congress & mission • Is to support the congress in fulfilling its constitutional duties and to further the progress of knowledge and creativity for the benefits of the nation • Is a government resources located on capital hill to educated different fields of research • Loc occupies three buildings on Capital Hill: Thomas J bldg, John Adams bldg and James Madison memorial bldg. • The loc started offering services in 1800 inside the US capital.

  4. Library of congress-history The library of congress was established in 1800, when President John Adams signed the bill for the transfer of the government seat from Philadelphia to Washington DC. It was housed in the New capital city until 1814 after the invading British troops set fire to the capital building, burning and pillaging the contents of the small library. 1897, the library opened its door to the public. It is the largest, the costliest and the safest library building in the world

Basic search window: help people to search by the title, author’s names, subject, call number, IBSN number and keywords Guided search: Using a series of forms and menus, construct keywords searches, restrict all or part of the search, combine search words or phrase with Boolean operators. Others on-line catalog gives people the opportunity to print documents pictures etc.
