  3. A verb conjunction used to express something that is going to happen soon, an upcoming event which is going to occur in the near future.

  4. Rules Present tense of aller + infinitive of action verb

  5. Rules Je vais Tuvas Il/Elle/On va Nous allons Vousallez Ils/Ellesvont INFINITIF

  6. Examples en Francais I’m going to see Luc. Je vaisvoir Luc. Il va arriver. He’s going to arrive. Nous allons manger. We’re going to eat.

  7. Futur Simple Used to refer to events or actions that are yet to take place. Futur Simple is formed by adding the Avoir endings to the verb. Take note that there are irregular verbs.

  8. Avoir Endings -ai -as -a -ons -ez -ont

  9. Irregular Verb Rules • If there are –re verbs, drop the final –e before adding the futur ending. E.g. apprendre Nous apprendronsà nager.
