  1. Plastic Surgery: The Changing Face Of Beauty Plastic surgery has come a long way in the decades since it first became popular. Not only have plastic surgery techniques advanced in sophistication and safety, but both men and women have also become more open to the idea of plastic surgery. The most recent survey by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons found that over 11% of people surveyed had undergone some form of cosmetic procedure in 2016 alone. Types of Plastic Surgery There are many different types of plastic surgery. The most common type is cosmetic surgery, which is performed to improve the appearance of a person. Other types of plastic surgery include reconstructive surgery, which is performed to correct physical deformities; and plastic surgery, which is performed to repair tissue damage. GBH American hospital is known as the best hospital in Udaipur for plastic surgery. What is a Face Lift? A facelift, also known as a rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that improves the appearance of the face by tightening the skin and muscles. It can be performed on both men and women of all ages. The most common reason people get a face lift is to improve the look of sagging skin and wrinkles. The surgery can also be used to correct other issues, such as drooping eyelids, a double chin, or jowls. Facelifts are usually performed under general anesthesia. The surgery takes about two hours to complete. During the procedure, the surgeon will make incisions in the hairline at the temples, continuing around the ear and ending in the lower scalp.

  2. After cutting through the skin, the surgeon will access the underlying fat and muscles. He or she will then sculpt and reposition them for a more youthful appearance. The skin will be re-draped over the newly shaped face and any excess will be trimmed away. Finally, stitches will close up the incisions. Most people who get a face lift see noticeable results immediately after surgery. However, it may take several weeks for all of the swelling and bruising to go away completely. The final results of a face lift can last for years, although they may gradually diminish over time due to aging processes that can’t be stopped
