  16. Wifi Internet FacStaff LOGIN Required Secure Can Access Admin Network (Banner) Username: email address Password: email password *Easy to setup on your phone but tricky to setup on laptops that are not district owned. SMCCCD_Public No Login Only Requires you Agree to Terms

  17. Technology Purchases Software – Cannot purchase software without approval. Has to be vetted by ITS for accessibility & security. Equipment – Cannot purchase IT related electronic equipment without approval.Includes cell phones, high-volume scanners (costing more than $200), tablet computers, i-pads, e-readers, laptops, desktop computers, printers (any type of printer regardless of cost), cameras (except “point and shoot” cameras costing less than $200), or projectors. Exceptions – Electronic items under $200 not including computers, laptops, tablets, ipads, printers, ereaders & cell phones. Examples: keyboard, mouse, headset, usb drive, sd card.

  18. Always be Suspicious All received in the past month! • Lists your email account and a real password (from 10 years ago). Asks for bitcoins. Claims they have been spying on you through your webcam. • Coming from Xerox when you didn’t scan anything • OneDrive document from someone who is not on our domain & link to one drive not on our domain • Asks you to login to our new HR or IT portal • Looks like it’s from someone you know but they are asking for something they shouldn’t
