  3. Barcode shortcuts: Enter the significant digits, add an x, and voilà! INFOhio barcodes are 14 digits. 22612000100069 could be typed as 10006x Barcode shortcuts

  4. Auto-generated barcodes Symphony gives you the option of letting the system generate patron and item barcode numbers. LNOCA must enable either or both of these features. Once your system is configured, barcode numbers will “magically” appear when adding an item or registering a user.

  5. Credit user account Using this wizard, you can deposit funds into a user’s credit account, manually refund a previously paid bill, or manually withdraw funds from the account. Contact LNOCA if you want this feature enabled.

  10. Original MARC record template • This template is to be used for commercially produced materials unavailable from SmartPort or when the Add Brief Title record is too brief. • Locate template from SmartPort  TEMPL database. • See document 11.9 of Sirsi Handbook.

StaffWeb – Functionality Provides limited access to: • Circulation - contains tabs for you to check out copies, check in copies, view the status of copies and patrons, place holds, maintain patron records, and add brief title records. • Cataloging - contains the tab to maintain title and copy records. • Reports - contains tabs for generating various circulation, cataloging, and patron reports. • Administration - contains tabs for you to configure workstation property settings.
