  1. OrCAD Capture Version 9.1 Parts Libraries

OrCAD Capture:Load Parts Libraries • Before you can run a simulation, you must load the parts libraries into Capture if they are not already available. • It is best to load all available libraries as you will need parts in each one of these libraries by the time you are done with ECE 2274. Launch PSpice Student/Capture Student

  3. Go to File/New/Project located on the OrCAD Capture – [Session Log] page

  4. In the New Project pop-up window that opens, enter a name for the project Select Analog or Mixed A/D Click Browse, which will open another pop-up window for you to select directory in which the project files will be stored. The default directory is fine.

  5. Select Create a blank project in the next pop-up window that opens.

  6. Click on Place/Part in SCHEMATICS1 : PAGE1

  7. In the Place Part pop-up window, click on Add Library. . In the Browse File that then opens, select all of the .olb files. Click Open and then close the Place Parts window.

  8. To select a part, you can click on its name in the Parts List or type it in the box under Part and then click OK. All of the parts in all of the libraries will be in the Parts List. A list of the libraries you selected should now appear.
