WHO PQP

The presentation by Ruba Jaber on behalf of the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company discusses the limited participation of pharmaceutical manufacturers in the MENA region in the WHO Prequalification Program (PQP). Many prioritize other products due to low pricing of PQP offerings. It also highlights the need for enhanced information sharing, improved templates, and workshops to facilitate participation. Further, it addresses challenges such as price competition and raw material costs, while emphasizing the potential benefits of joining the PQP, including access to new markets and quality standards.
