  2. The First Americans The fist Americans were known by evidents that the fist Americans were from Southeast Asia and the southern Pacific area. They came across the Bering Sea.

  3. European Exploration Some reasons for European exploration that led them to the North American Continent was to find gold, silver, and precious stones. To expand their knowledge of the world. Finally to find a route to the spices of Asia. Some explorers were Christopher Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci

  4. European Impact An impact of an establishment of colonies by Europe in North American people who already lived there was that its going to create a war that is caused over land.

  5. Colonization Great Britain, Spain band France were some of the European countries that established major colonies. Explorers landed in America for some time before English settlers arrived in what is now Jamestown Virginia in 1607.

  6. France, Britain, and the Indians were involved (fighting) in the war. The cause of the war was that they were fighting for control of land which was North America. It started in 1754 and ended in 1763. England won the war. French and Indian War vs

  7. The Path To Independence The colonists wanted freedom and independence from Britain because of high taxes, unfairness and unfair laws

  8. Founding Fathers Benjamin Franklin and George Washington both played a huge role in the revolutionary war. George Washington was captain/general of the U.S Army. Benjamin Franklin dealed with treaty. He also signed the declaration of independence.

  9. The American Revolution One advantage that British had over the colonists was that they had way more people The advantage that the colonists had over the British was that they were fighting on their own land so they new the battlefield very well. This event occurred through 1775-1783. A major battle was the Battle of Lexington.

  10. After Independence The new document is the U.S Constitution. The three branches are Legislative Branch, Executive Branch, and the Judicial Branch.

  11. More Growth of America The United States had bought the Louisiana purchase. The California province, The Texas annexation, and Oregon Country. These places were bought and won from wars.

  12. Growth of America Jefferson doubled the size of the United States by the Louisiana Purchase doubled the Country size. Then he sent the explorers Lewis and Clarke to explore the new land. France Arkansas, Missouri, Lowa Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and parts of Minnesota.

  13. The Civil War Some reasons the southerners had for wanting to split the United States was for the states to have more power and freedom. It started on April 12, 1861 and ended on April 9, 1865.

  14. After the Civil War Newly free black population adapted to life in the United States after the civil war. African Americans could now go to school. They had more freedom then they had before the war.

  15. World War I What started world war 1 was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife Gavrilo Princip. President Wilson felt that the USA should not become involved in World War 1 when the war began. What made the United States enter the war was the that Germany told the commanders of the German U-boats to sink any ships that they thought were bringing supplies to the Allies.
