Our Vision • Increase awareness locally in asset management practices • Increase skill level of local industry in modern maintenance engineering techniques • Network best practices to accelerate benefits to local organizations • Promote maintenance as a profit centre not a cost centre • Integrate and support activities with European Federation of Maintenance Societies

EFNMS • Was established in 1970 • The EFNMS objectives are the following: the improvement of maintenance for the benefit of the peoples of Europe. • Mission is to: • Develop the Maintenance profession • Enhance innovation in maintenance • Increase awareness of the importance and significance of Maintenance. for the competitiveness and sustainability of European economy

EFNMS • There are currently 5 best practice committees aimed at steering maintenance practices throughout Europe: • European Asset Management Committee • European Health and Safety Committee • European Maintenance Benchmarking Committee • European Certification Committee • European Training Committee

Activity Plan 2012/2013 Common Projects 1.      Networking of association members and representatives. 2.      Organising Association LTPIA annual conference. 3.      Improve collaboration with other associations activities 4.      Prepare and customise Lithuania EFNMS training and certification projects.  5.      Participate in EFNMS activities and general assembly meetings 6.    Prepare a comparative analysis (benchmarking ) of Lithuanian companies based on key maintenance performance indicators. 7.      Prepare (translated) maintenance terminology in the Lithuanian language, according to IEC and EN standard. 8. Regular seminars at members industrial sites including tour and short program (~2hours) followed by social activities.

  21. Information activities 1. Improve market research work. 2. Strengthen contacts with local and foreign associated business structures. 3.  EU  and Lithuanian legal acts analysis. 4.  Improve Web activities using LTPIA webpage and LinkedIN forums. 5.  Actively participate in the Lithuanian journal „Evolution“ development. 6. Circulate information provided by EFNMS including journals and research findings. Activity Plan 2012/2013

Lobbying 1.   Find out the association members' needs, concerns, suggestions related to the existing legal framework in Lithuania by conducting surveys. 2.   Active participation of all laws relating to local business needs 3.  Organize meetings with the responsible public authority Activity Plan 2012/2013

Benefits Establish a networkofmaintenance professionals throughout Lithuania Study and introduce best practicemaintenance management techniques and processes Initiate and promote the publication of the results of scientific and practical work in the maintenance field Organize conferences and conventions locally about maintenance Provide direction in the development of maintenance in Europe

Benefits Gain access through the association to all EFNMS developed material Network with EFNMS members throughout Europe Co-ordinate maintenance matters to EFNMS Promote the awarding of prizes and distinctions relating to maintenance by EFNMS Provide feedback and input on guidelines set by the EFNMS committees Bi-annual Euromaintenance conferences (May 2012 Belgrade, Serbia)
