  2. Cover/Title • We learned that geographers ask 2 questions: WHERE things are and WHY are they there. Here’s the cover of Taylor’s book:

  3. In our studies this year, we are going to apply the 5 themes of geography to multiple areas of the world. Students created a resource book of their own as a collection of geographic terms. In the next slide, Taylor defined each of the 5 themes of geography and illustrated that theme with a picture example. 5 Themes of Geography

  4. After the 5 themes were added, we proceeded to add basic geography vocabulary terms. These terms will be used throughout the year. In the next slide, Taylor focused on map skills vocabulary. These map skills will be focused on throughout the year as well. Geographic Terms

  5. Books still in progress…. • We should have them complete by the end of next week. • This flip book project will give the students an immediate reference resource to guide them throughout the year. • I’d like to thank Taylor for letting us all see his flip book project. Great job!
