Intelligent Notes System

The Intelligent Notes System (INS) for the ICU at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital addresses limitations in current clinical information systems. It aims to annotate notes and extract valuable information for clinicians. The system architecture includes a data warehouse and a server-client model to process retrieval requests, manage user accounts, and enhance note content. Key functionalities involve user registration, keyword-based retrieval using SNOMED and autocompletion features. As a result, INS improves clinical documentation efficiency and supports better patient care.
