  7. C&BL MUST be read, voted on and approved at a regular UNIT meeting, and must contain the following: The Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules were read, Voted on and approved at our regular meeting on (date of regular Unit meeting) Signature of Unit President, C&BL Chairman and/or Secretary

  8. Reason for changes to C&BL Eliminate the need to amend bylaws Achieve the goal of amending bylaws only every decade

  9. Constitution - should rarely, if ever, change Bylaws - The “bones” – fixed only when broken Standing Rules – The “Skin” having the flexibility to change as often as desired

  10. Eligibility – wording change From granddaughters, great granddaughters, etc. to DESCENDANTS

  11. DUES Only the amount of Dues will now be in Standing Rules

  12. COMMITTEES 8 CORE Committees to remain in Bylaws Americanism, Children & Youth, National Security, VA & R, Membership Constitution & Bylaws, Finance and Audit
