  9. Possibilities Masks as an offering at the Communion Table The options are limitless! • QA’s goal to bring understanding of the inhumanity of this issue through creating masks. • Masks hide hurt, sorrow, pain, shame, injustice, and a number of other feelings associated with human slavery.

The options are limitless! • This will be a chance for every woman to attempt to bring her own understanding of the heart and soul of those behind the mask of trafficking. • Each mask will have a name and description. • We desire to raise funds and awareness about the issue of Human Trafficking. 

  11. QA bags We widely circulated (Cabinet, Website, Regions, Global Ministries) for submissions of bags. We wanted to honor a fair trade - an exchange of goods based on principles of economic and social justice, willing to pay a fair price for all parts. We wanted to bring business to local ethical companies, increasing production and generating jobs.

  12. Palomas Oilcloth Designswww.palomasoilclothdesigns.com/oilcloth_designs.html A group of seven women from Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua, MX who sew to support their families. With help from Border Partners, a nonprofit organization working in the community to develop economic opportunities, they started their own coop business in early 2009. They have worked hard to develop a line of beautiful products. Ludy, Maria, Challo, Socorrito, Bere, Martha and Juliana

  14. QA 2014 tote bags & shirts • GOOD NEWS, NO CONSIGMENTS • All orders will be done online. Information will be posted on our Quadrennial Assembly website at: www.quadrennial.org. • An email will go out to Staff Fellowship as to when you can purchase these items.

  15. Tweeners Program

  16. Who is a Tweener? Who is welcomed at Tweeners? • Tweeners is open to both boys and girls! • We welcome your sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, granddaughters, grandsons… • This program is for them. • Between the ages of 10-13 • We have developed a program for young people that fall under the age of having completed 5th grade to having completed 7th grade.

  17. What will the Tweens be doing at QA? • Outings! • Workshops! • Mission Projects! • Fellowship! • Worship! • Have a blast with other tweens and grow closer to God!

  19. Stewards, Team Leaders, and Chaperones If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. - John Quincy Adams

  20. Stewards • A high school woman who has completed the 10thgrade or recently graduated (2014). This woman needs to demonstrate leadership abilities and a passion to assist and understand how to use her gifts during the Quadrennial event. • Stewards will assist to entertain, usher, guide, and help organize events during QA.

  21. Team Leaders • A woman who has been out of high school for at least one year and is 18-21 years-old (2014). This woman needs to demonstrate leadership abilities and a passion to assist and understand how to use her gifts during the Quadrennial event. • Team Leaders will help Stewards complete tasks and projects during QA.

  22. Chaperone • A person over the age of 25 who will reside and assist at most 6 stewards. They will make sure stewards and team leaders are in their room and where they need to be during the mornings and evenings. They may also be asked to assist in some other way or as needed. • They will be able to participate during the day as regular participants.

  33. QA promoters • Need to have a women in your Region, Convención, District , Area etc. as the QA Promoter. This was solicited since October. Check the list we have. • We have plans to have a reward program for the Regions that exceed proportionally attendance in 2014 compared to QA 2010. Among the prizes will be entering a drawing for upgrades room or free registrations that can be given to another women.

Registration QA 2014 • Registration will kick off at the 2013 General Assembly in Orlando, Florida • Discount price: $365 + a free T-shirt for those that register during the General Assembly • July 18 - December 31, 2013 - $ 375. • January 1 - March 31, 2014 - $ 380. • April 1 - June 9, 2014 - $400 • On site registration: $425 • One day registration $130
