  2. Entering Class B & B! • The procedure is to quietly come into class, sit in your seat, log on and immediately begin these two things: • Check the Blog to see what we will be doing today: • Go to the middle school’s website. • Click on “Teacher Websites.” • Click on “Antol, Alicia” • Click on “Money Management” • Click on “View Blog” • Complete Bell work. (The class blog will explain what to do for bell work.) Don’t Worry! We’ll Practice!

  3. Tardies • If you enter the classroom after class has started, please DO NOT disturb the class in any way. • Instead, follow these steps: • If you have a pass, quietly hand it to me. • Take your seat. • Do not add $5.00 for being on time. • The school policy on tardies will be followed. • 1 = warning • 2 = detentions • 3 = detentions and call home

  4. Restroom Passes • If you really need to use the restroom while you are in this class: • If at all possible, wait until instruction is over. • Sign out on the clipboard. • Take the pass with you. • Update your records to reflect your pass (subtract $25.00).

  5. Headphones & Pencils • Borrowing Headphones • Wrap the cord before returning them to the box. • If you prefer to use your own, you may do so. However, they should only be used at appropriate times. • Purchasing Pencils • You should always bring a pencil to class. If you do not have one, you may purchase one. • Let me know you would like to purchase a pencil. • Update your records to reflect your purchase (subtract $25.00).

  6. Computer Usage • Respect the computers: • You should NOT unplug cords, pound on the keys, etc. • You should not eat or drink in the computer lab. • Respect other computer users: • You should NOT intentionally make it difficult for the next person to log in, push their power buttons, etc.

  7. Turning In Work • Papers: Turn any handouts and worksheets into the tray for your class period when finished. • Computer Files: • Save them in your X-drive  Money Management folder  topic folder. • This will ensure that you can find your files when it comes time to check them!

  8. Getting Work Back • File all returned handouts in your folder. • You can check grades using Pinnacle. • If you do not know how to log into Pinnacle, stop by to see Mrs. Yeich when you get a chance! • I will also periodically share your grades with you. • If you’re ever curious, just ask!

  9. Absent Work • If you are absent, check the blog to see what you missed. • When you return to school, check the folder in the bottom of the tray for any handouts or worksheets you missed. • If you missed any notes, ask a classmate to help you catch up. • If you have any questions, please see me. 

  10. Missing Work • Missing Work: • Check Pinnacle for any missing work. • If available, use “Ketchup” time in class to complete any missing work OR complete work on your own time. • It is ALWAYS a good idea to turn in missing work. • As long as it is from the current grading period, you will receive partial credit!

  11. When Your Work is Complete • I will flip the “OK to Play” sign by the door. • You may play computer games IF and only if: • Instruction is over and all of your work is finished. • The sound is off or headphones are on. • You are on appropriate websites and games only. • If repeatedly warned about games or websites during instruction or work time, disciplinary action will be taken.

  12. Dismissal • Stay seated until the bell rings and/or I dismiss you. • Log off your computer and turn your monitor off. • Tidy your station. • Put your keyboard and mouse back where you found them. • Push in your chair. • Make sure you aren’t leaving anything behind.

  13. Following Procedures • If you DO NOT follow procedures: • Verbal warning  • Loss of privileges  • Disciplinary assignment  • Parental contact  • Office referral  • If you DO follow procedures: • A pleasant classroom atmosphere  • Confident and productive students  • A very happy teacher  • A fabulous grading period!!!!!!!!! 
