Genetic Recombination at MYH9 Locus: In Vivo and In Vitro Analysis

This study examines recombination events at the MYH9 locus using techniques such as Southern blotting and PCR in both in vivo and in vitro settings. The targeted alleles, MYH9Flx and MYH9Δ, are analyzed for cre recombination. Results show 6.6 kb and 8.3 kb products with specific BamHI, EcoR1, and XbaI sites identified.
