  1. Sierra Pacific Liftslide

  2. Welcome The Sierra Pacific liftslide features Sierra Pacific door panels modified and integrated into the Weiland door frame. • With over two decades of experience behind Weiland’s designs, the company has positioned itself as the forerunner in the use of European door and window technology. Modified for U.S. applications, Weiland has been awarded several patents covering unique track and jamb designs. • All manufacturing is done in California.

  3. Liftslide Overview • Bigger doors, bigger views 4) European hardware • Flush track 5) American ingenuity • Performance tested

  4. Flush Track Only 3/16” above finished floor (several track options). Tested to meet AAMA performance standards. The flush track has been used in coastal applications for over 20 years with great success. Designed and pre-assembled for easier installation. A surface mounted track is available.

  5. Door Panel and Frame Panels can be configured straight, stacked, pocketing and as corner units meeting at almost any angle. Stiles and rails are 2 ¼” thick allowing narrower wall pockets. Panels are made from kiln dried Douglas fir, preservative treated in accordance with WDMA I.S.4. The door frame is thermally broken and made from extruded 6063 aluminum with an interior wood cladding. Top and bottom tracks are staggered for a cleaner look.

  6. European Hardware The easy to operate liftslide hardware design ensures many years of effortlessly sliding large panels. Tested for AAMA performance standards for water, air and structural performance, the hardware has passed Dade County requirements. Bigger doors are available. The liftslide door has a multi-point locking system that is designed for superior security. Interior handles with exterior finger pulls are standard and other handle options are also available.

  7. Liftslide Glass Options Standard glass is tempered insulated glass, overall thickness = ¾” with a high performance ½” Super Spacer from Edgetech. Panels are available with one lite, simulated divided lites or airspace grilles. All standard tints and types of glass are available, size limitations may apply. If necessary, vent tubes are an option for transporting into higher altitudes.

  8. Highest Quality Exterior Finish All aluminum surfaces are finished to meet AAMA 2604 specifications. 2605 is available upon request. Almost countless color options including 35 standard colors, 19 semi custom colors, and an unlimited number of custom colors are available.

  9. Liftslide Design Flexibility Superior design integrity allows for bigger doors and ease of operation. Straight, corner and pocketing systems are available with an almost limitless number of panels. Removable handles are an option that allow narrower wall pockets or flush stacking of panels to a side jamb.

  10. Installation • Sierra Pacific has installed many liftslides themselves. Weiland also has a list of independent installers on their website. • To ensure the best quality and highest customer satisfaction, every system is assembled and operated prior to delivery. • A pre-installation checklist is available to insure the install goes smoothly. • It is critical to insure that the opening is prepared correctly. • Once the door arrives, the panels and frame should be carefully stored and protected.
