About FutureWork Systems • Since 1999 FutureWork Systems has focused on serving the performance management needs of the public workforce system • Business Intelligence Web Application Services exclusively designed and developed for Workforce Development • Over 100 Workforce Boards in the following states are now using this application: • CT MN • NJ MO • NC NM • GA NV • LA CA

Performance Matters Data Update Process • Performance Matters is fed monthly data from the state Case Management System – PIRL data • PMn fed national quarterly PIRL data available from USDOL • Once approved, FutureWorks processes it into the data warehouse and surfaces it into the client’s Performance Matters Web app • End users are notified via email when data is refreshed. • Performance Matters provides a living, breathing view of current performance data across the State at the WDB, Career Center, Youth Provider and ETP levels.

A dynamic platform and service to inform decision-making • Easily track, monitor, report and analyze WIOA performance • Custom metrics unique to state/WDB possible • Explore Participant Activity and Outcomes • Employment history of occupations and industries • Training and other services provided • Industry, occupation and earnings of placed participants • Analyze Outcomes for Program Improvement • Understanding contributing factors & finding best outcomes • Evolve Policy from Performance Discoveries • Single-click data access • Non-technical, user friendly interface accessible by all technical skill levels

Current Status of MD Performs • One year contract approved in May 2019 • Website created and populated with data though July 31, 2019, and Performance through PY 19 Q1 • 98% reconciled with case management data…reconciliation continuing • Overview and demonstration of MD Performs provided to Directors on June 5th • Estimate 4 to 5 users from each local WDB will be issued passwords to MD Performs • Authorized users typically include Policymakers, Managers, Planners, Monitors and MIS staff with one “expert” user recommended • First round of hands-on training provided June 19th and June 20th • Purpose of today’s webinar……Provide overview of MD Performs
