Construction Apprenticeship Programs: State Share and New Registrations (1995-2010)

This report provides an overview of joint labor-management apprenticeship programs in the construction industry, including the share of active programs by state. It also explores new registrations in construction apprenticeship programs, comparing union and nonunion programs over select years. Additionally, it examines the number of Hispanic construction workers among new apprenticeship registrations and the number of active apprentices in selected construction occupations in 2011. The report also explores occupational training in construction based on Hispanic ethnicity and establishment size.
