  7. Lucid Dreaming • A lucid dream is a dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. • Facts: - It is recorded far from 415 AD - Inception - 82%of the sample reported this experience

  8. Question: • Is it really a condition so common to people? • Reason: the samples of those researches were usually – • 1. students who enrolled in psychology courses • 2. adults who have unusually high interest in dreaming and/or lucid dreaming

  17. Statistics(4) • 64% showed lucid dreams often occurred during childhood and adolescent (18 and below) • Also 64% showed they still have lucid dreams until now

  18. Findings(1) • The prevalence is over 60% • Most Lucid dreamers have less than 10 lucid dreams • Lucid dreams occur more often during childhood and adolescent than adulthood • No gender differences • No relation between dream recall ability/dreaming frequency

  20. conclusion • Having lucid dreams is not rare. • It is not as common as what previous research showed.
