  3. Setting The setting took place at a house on a hill over Lake Lachrymose. The House looked like it would fall off the hill if it didn’t have stilts holding it up. It also took place by the lake off the hill.

  4. Count Olaf – He is the orphans old caretaker that is trying to get their fortune. He is an evil man. Aunt Josephine- She is the orphans new caretaker and she just lost her husband. She is crazy about grammar and is not a very good guardian. Main Characters Violet- She is the oldest of the Baudelaire's and when she becomes out of age she will get the fortune. She also loves to invent. Klaus- Is the second oldest of the Baudelaire children. He loves reading books. Count Olaf Aunt Josephine Sunny- She is the baby of Baudelaire orphans. She loves to bite hard things because she has hard teeth. Violet Klaus Sunny

  5. Summary The Baudelaire orphans new caretaker is their Aunt Josephine, she loves to teach the children grammar. While they were at a shop preparing for the hurricane when they saw someone named Captain Sham, who was really Count Olaf. Their Aunt Josephine didn’t know that. When they got home and finished dinner the phone rang and it was Captain Sham he said he had a surprise for them, so they went to their room. A couple hours later there was a big smash that came fro the Wide Window it had shattered…

  6. Scene 1 This is a scene when they arrived to the house on the lake. Aunt Josephine's house looked like it was going to fall off the cliff.

  7. Scene 2 When they went into the library at aunt Josephine's house with grammar all books. They saw the Wide Window.

  8. Scene 3 When Aunt Josephine and the orphans went down to town to prepare for the hurricane and went to buy food. Then they saw Count Olaf “Captain Sham” at the market.

  9. Scene 4 Aunt Josephine has always been afraid of lots of things, mostly phones. So when the phone rang Violet answered it and it was Captain Sham.

  10. My Opinion My opinion about this story is it was great. I liked it because it kept you guessing and you cant put it down. I would definitely recommend it.
