The Homeroom Project • SDS started with group of 12 Consortium districts • WSIPC existing relationship with SDS • Developed partnership July 2011 • Initiated Pilot Project in October 2011 with five districts in ESD189 • Prototype districts rolled out in each region from March to October 2012 • Regional Information Service Centers now Implementing statewide

Homeroom for WSIPC • What is Homeroom for WSIPC? • A web-based tool for viewing Student Assessment data • Primarily built for teachers, but is accessible by others • Presents data in a consistent format and in a meaningful way • Administrative Dashboards • Companion Product to Homeroom • Aggregates data for Schools or District • Provides longitudinal charts and graphs

Homeroom for WSIPC • What is the value of Homeroom for WSIPC? • It gives you a single place to view assessment data for students – past and present • It allows you to ask questions about groups of students • It gives a broad picture of the student • Admin Dashboards • Trending over years • Comparisons between schools or demographic groups

Homeroom for WSIPC • How are Homeroom and Admin Dashboards Implemented? • Implementation includes: • Assigning a district Homeroom for WSIPC Administrator(s) • Data Gathering and Setup • Training • Implementation Support • Contact the ESD Homeroom Support for WSIPC team to learn about support for implementation in your district.
